And then send an email out to all AutoCAD users in the office to never use Attach for xrefs unless you have a solid reason for wanting to do so! In your specific case, maybe save a file as the filename that the xref was nested inside of and link to it. WebDec 15, 2024 · The developers found that the Xrefs not being detached has something to do with the layer visibility. If we make all layers visible, we can successfully detach all the Xrefs. So this can be a workaround for now. Unfortunately, we don't know what caused this issue in the first place.
