WebAn illustrated account of the botany and wood properties of Guarea spp. The description of the wood is based on G. thompsonii and G. cedrata. Botanical and wood identification characteristics are given also for G. laurentii. The three species are widely distributed in West and central Africa, G. cedrata occurring as far East as Uganda.
