WebI wouldnt mess with the blade dethatcher. Imho it doesnt go deep enough and isnt sturdy enough to be beneficial. Most of the time just tears regular grass out. If its a new place you recently acquired or its been severly neglected, then do it. But its a 1 and done for me. Mind you in my area with cool season grass i dont get much thatch.
