Webb30 aug. 2024 · I have 60fps footage that I need to transcode to another format and also output as ~29.97fps. I cannot drop any frame. I have tried this command: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vcodec dnxhd -acodec pcm_s16le -s 1920x1080 -r 30000/1001 -b:v 36M -pix_fmt yuv422p -vsync 0 -f mov output.mov. But it's outputting 60fps! WebbIf the editor did a proper 23.98 to 25fps conversion – creating a generated frame per second, then you're all set. If they slowed down the video to be 25fps that's when a second no longer equals a second, and 4% slower is very noticeable. They did slow down the video I guess because the 25fps is 7 seconds longer.

Then, change 3:2 Pulldown from Off to WSSWW (technically, any of the cadence options are fine as you're not matching a file that was pulled up). If you're delivering a :30 or a :60 it shouldn't make a difference as your content isn't long enough to have a drop frame.
