WebbThey are amazingly regular, which makes me suspect they are part of the model rather than printing artifacts. When slicing the object in PrusaSlicer, use the slider to scroll down through the layers and check if the holes are present there also. Reply DrXevven • Additional comment actions Webb21 juli 2024 · It would have been interesting to have and XY compensation for small features with concave only shape like holes as the external perimeter tend to go inward and that is nor the case for convex features. ... Hole diameter? Slicer currently does not estimate diameters, this would have to be a new functionality.
What is causing those holes? (0.15mm / 20% / PLA / PrusaSlicer)

In general a solution already exists for a while in the SuperSlicer branch of PS and Cura does it similar. In the old discussion about the sense of a slicer based workarounds I completly agree with the argument of the PS responsibles, that it is a material problem. WebbOne thing I found would sometimes help is to change the nozzle width setting in the slicer (to maybe 0.39 mm) and this sometimes helps (at the expense of needing to offset the extrusion rate to compensate). Here are some rectangles of width 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm (increments of 0.1 mm) sliced in Cura 2.31. The first is 'normal', with wall count set to 2. Webbits your hole horizontal expansion setting (-/+ to make hole shrink/expand). Post-process drilling is often like putting a band aid on an issue, and addressing it in the slicer is more like addressing the root cause; that and addressing hardware issues, like the fact that nozzle is about .25 to .5 too low (just a guess), and that it looks like there might be some … WebbThe number of perimeters used to compute this value is one loop, or the custom variable 'wall_thickness_lines' (advanced mode) if defined.\nIf the value is too low, it will revert the widths to the saved value.\nIf the value is set to 0, it will show 0.:s_wall_thickness tavolo air wildwood rotondo
