WebFeb 17, 2016 · As you can see for 3 THz signal there is a sawtoohth-trend. At 21:45 the signal have a perturbation (I wanna study that perturbation). That perturbation is clearly observed at 7 THz. At 3 THz is was observed a interruption of the sawtooth. So, I need to detrend or filter this signal. WebJul 17, 2024 · No! The spectrum of a signal is property of the signal, no matter how you constructed that signal: same signal, same harmonics. Don't hesitate to correct my understanding of how the sawtooth is built in the first place. It doesn't matter how it's built - a sawtooth has exactly the harmonics every sawtooth has :)

WebMay 11, 2014 · The sawtooth waveform has a period 2*pi, rises from -1 to 1 on the interval 0 to width*2*pi, then drops from 1 to -1 on the interval width*2*pi to 2*pi. width must be in the interval [0, 1]. Note that this is not band-limited. It produces an infinite number of harmonics, which are aliased back and forth across the frequency spectrum. Examples
