Web10 Apr 2024 · Memory, to me, is associative. When you’re remembering, you’re not thinking in a timeline of your life like a history textbook. Rumination doesn’t happen in a straight line. It’s more of a spiral or a coil. Grief doesn’t happen in a straight line, at least in my experience, it happens more in waves.
